  1. According to the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal, while making any password, it should be kept in mind that it is quite strong. To make the password strong or strong, a combination of alpha-numeric and special character should be kept in it. It should use upper and lower case letters as well as number and special character.
  2. The length of the password should be of at least 8 digits. Passwords with less than 8 can be easily cracked. Since the arrival of AI, more digits should be used to keep the password safe, so that AI can also find it difficult to find a correct combination of password.
  3. Avoid using the same password for social media and bank accounts. For example, the passwords of social media and bank accounts should not be the same. If this happens, it will be easy for hackers to make a dent in your account.
  4. Not only this, do not share your password, OTP or One Time Password, PIN (Personal Identification Number) and CRVV number of credit or debit cards with anyone.
  5. The Cybercrime Reporting Portal has also advised users to keep the passwords of all their banks and social media accounts regularly. By doing this, it will not be easy to find your password.
