Finance Ministry released memorandum
The Finance Ministry said in a memorandum of August 22, 2025, “In view of the Ganpati festival, the government has decided that the salary of August 2025 of all central government of Maharashtra can be withdrawn and distributed on 26 August 2025 (Tuesday) by the central government offices (including defense, postal and telecom).”
When will the government employees of Kerala get salary
The central government said that they will release the salary of all central government employees of Kerala including defense, postal and telecom, on August 25 before the Onam festival.
What is the Finance Ministry said in the statement
The Finance Ministry said in a statement that salary, wages and pension distribution would be considered as advance payment. The Finance Ministry said in the memorandum, “Thus distributed salary/wages/pension will be considered an advance payment and will be subject to adjustment after each employee/pensioner determines the entire month’s salary/wage/pension. If there is any adjustment, it will be done without any exception to the salary/wage/pension of August/September 2025 without exception.”
