New Delhi. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday accused the government of spying and said that the phones of opposition leaders are being tapped and similar activities are being carried out in his office too but he is not afraid and the government Will continue to raise voice against the policies of.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here today, Gandhi said that opposition leaders are being spied on and his office is also under its influence. Opposition leaders have received a notice from Apple in which it is written that the government is trying to hack your phone.
The Congress leader said that this message has come to the people of my office as well as to many opposition leaders. We have its complete list. The government is now spying on opposition leaders. Today itself a notification has come from Apple that you are the target of the government. The government is spying on us. Our phones are being tapped but the government should understand that it makes no difference to them. As much taping as we need to do, as much phone recording as we need to do, it doesn’t matter to us and we are not going to back down from it.
He said that many opposition leaders are alleging ‘hacking’ of their Apple phones and other devices and very few people are fighting against it but we are not afraid. You can do phone tapping as much as you want. I don’t care. If you want to have my phone, I will give it to you.
Gandhi said that many people in my office have also received such messages. KC Venugopal, Supriya Shrinet, Pawan Kheda have also received this message. By doing such things, the BJP government is diverting attention from the issues.
The Congress leader alleged that the government was getting his and other opposition leaders’ phones tapped. In this context, he also showed a copy of the warning received on e-mail from the phone manufacturing company as evidence during the press conference. He said that at the behest of the government, the attackers were trying to tamper with his phone.
