Government ready to discuss Operation Sindoor in Parliament
The government has agreed to discuss Operation Sindoor in the Parliament monsoon session. Next week, this issue will be debated 16 hours in Lok Sabha and 9 hours in Rajya Sabha. However, the opposition says that the discussion should take place at the beginning of the session and PM Modi replies.
Here, on the first day of the session, there was an uproar at Pahalgam and Operation Sindoor in the Rajya Sabha-Lok Sabha. The opposition raised slogans demanding discussion on these issues. The Lok Sabha was postponed 4 times throughout the day, after which the House was postponed till 11 pm on Tuesday.
In the Rajya Sabha, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said- The terrorists of the Pahalgam attack were not yet caught. Did not even kill. The Lieutenant Governor has said that intelligence failure occurred in Jammu and Kashmir. Trump has said 24 times that we stopped the war. The government should give all these answers.
During this, Union Minister JP Nadda said- such a message should not be sent in the country that the government does not want to discuss Pahalgam and Operation Sindoor. We will discuss and do it in every way. All points of Operation Sindoor will be placed in front of the country.
The India alliance held a meeting before the monsoon session. It made a strategy to surround the government in the House on issues such as Operation Sindoor, India-Pakistan ceasefire, claims on Donald Trump’s ceasefire and Bihar Voter List. Opposition wants an answer from the PM on all these issues.
Parliament’s monsoon session will run 32 days
The monsoon session of Parliament will run 32 days from 21 July to 21 August. A total of 18 meetings, more than 15 bills will be introduced in 32 days. Parliament will not be proceeded with the Independence Day celebrations on 13-14 August.
The central government will introduce 8 new bills in the monsoon session, while 7 pending bills will be discussed. These include bills like Manipur GST Amendment Bill 2025, Income Tax Bill, National Sports Governance Bill.
On the first day, the report of the Parliamentary Committee on the new income tax bill will be presented in the Lok Sabha. The committee has given 285 suggestions. The 622 -page bill will replace the 6 decade -old Income Tax Act 1961.
