Government sources have informed that Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju will talk to all parties for impeachment motion against Judge Yashwant Verma.

What is this whole case?
Actually, this whole case is related to cash seizures. A large quantity of burnt cash was recovered at the official residence of the then judge Yashwant Verma in the Delhi High Court. After the case surfaced, he was transferred to the Allahabad High Court. The Supreme Court’s inquiry committee investigated the case and convicted Judge Yashwant Verma. According to sources, the then Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Sanjeev Khanna had asked Judge Yashwant Verma to resign, but refused. After this, Justice Sanjeev Khanna wrote a letter to the President and Prime Minister of India and recommended impeachment action against Justice Verma.
