Government will compensate for the loss in Deoli-Uniara incident: Kirori Lal Meena

Jaipur, November 19 (IANS). On November 13, the day of by-election in Devli-Uniara seat of Tonk district of Rajasthan, there was a huge disturbance in the area after an independent candidate Naresh Meena slapped the SDM. Local people had set many vehicles on fire. After this Naresh Meena was arrested by the police. In this matter, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kirori Lal Meena said that the government will compensate for the loss caused during the disturbance.

He told IANS, “In this matter it has been decided that whatever loss has been caused, the government will compensate it. This entire matter will be investigated by a higher official, such as a Commissioner level person. Apart from this, out of the villages which were in Deoli area, there was a demand of about 28 villages that they should be shifted to Uniara. As per their demand, they will be included in Uniara. It will be ensured that innocent people are not harassed.”

After this, on the stay order of the High Court on SI recruitment, he said, “The decision of the High Court has come yesterday, but till now there is no clear position on this, because there is a stay on the matter right now. There is no clear answer as to how long the stay order will remain in the High Court, but everyone’s eyes are on this matter.”

He said that the promises made by Congress in Himachal Pradesh do not seem to be being fulfilled now. Recently, there are also reports of auction of Himachal Bhawan, which further makes it clear that the promises made by Congress have now reached the auction instead of being fulfilled. During its rule, Congress weakened the country’s economy and promoted corruption, as a result of which the situation has become like this today. If the system is not run properly in the state, the situation may become even more serious, and Congress will be responsible for it.
