The Greater Noida Authority has proposed to construct a 3 km long road to connect the city’s 130 meter wide road to the 120 meter wide road of the Yamuna Authority before the launch of Noida International Airport, to improve regional mubility.
The purpose of linking Noida Extension to the airport
Officials of the Greater Noida Authority said that the move aims to establish uninterrupted contacts to the new airport being built in Noida Extension and Jewelry. This road had long been an obstacle in direct connectivity from Greater Noida West and Ghaziabad to the airport area. Officials said that with the completion of these 3 km long road work, the journey to the airport will be quite easy and convenient, which currently covers a distance of about 30 kilometers from four idols to Sirsa village.
Greater Noida West, Ghaziabad will also get full benefit
The benefit of this new link road will not only be available to the people living in Greater Noida but also to the people living in the housing sectors of Greater Noida West, Ghaziabad and Yamuna Authority. People living in Ghaziabad, Greater Noida and Greater Noida West will easily come from Noida International Airport from this new road. Along with this, people here will also have ease and convenience to travel between Greater Noida, Greater Noida West, Ghaziabad and Yamuna Authority.
DPR will be ready in two months
According to officials, the detailed project report (DPR) of the proposal is likely to be prepared in the next two months and funding will be finalized after discussion with Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) and other authorities. He informed that an important meeting is also expected for this soon.
