Nature gives you a lot of indication to wake up with complaints and crying in the mind. Guru Purnima is one such opportunity to awaken the knowledge of life. When you respect life and when you have gratitude, the complaint stops.
Honor of Guru Tattva:
Just look at this miracle- Billions of cells in your body are continuously originating and merging, each has its own rhythm. You have a whole city inside your body, such as thousands of bees gather around a queen bee in a hive. If the queen disappears, the hive collapses.
Similarly, in your center there is a soul- self, divine or guru element. All three are the same- within the hive of life, queen keeps us like a bee. The Guru element is dignified, yet is humble like a child. Honoring the Guru is to respect life. This is the essence of Guru Purnima. Teachers give you information. The Guru awakens your inner vitality. The Guru does not just fill you with knowledge, but he gives you experience. It has complete integration of knowledge and life.
Knowledge is your guru in your life. Life has already taught you a lot where you did wrong and what you did. You should throw light on this knowledge from time to time. If you live your life without awareness about this knowledge, then you are not respecting the Guru element. Also Read: How to worship Mahaguru Dattatreya on Guru Purnima
Guru Purnima is a new year for the seeker. This is the time to see the annual report card- how much you have moved forward in life and how much you are more stable. We need to return to knowledge again and again; Wisdom has to be immersed in knowledge. This is true satsang. Satsang is the association of truth, the association of knowledgeables. You shake hands with your inner truth, and this is satsang.
Honor your gifts: The second thing you should do on this Guru Purnima is to use the gift given to you. If you speak well or your intellect is good, then use it for the benefit of others. You have been given many blessings. Use them wisely and you will be given more. The giver is giving you a lot tirelessly and does not want any kind of acceptance or respect from you.
Move from words to silence: There are three levels of understanding-a level of words; Then comes emotions where you do not stand on words but see the meaning or feeling behind the words; And then the third level is where you also become beyond emotion because emotions and meanings change. The third is at the level of silence. The message is given through silence. As you move on the path, you move towards a feeling of gratitude with a mind-minded mind and gratitude leads you to blissful silence.
Learn that the Guru is witness: Do not forget to understand the Guru as a body or personality. Look beyond the Guru. Undoubtedly, Guru gives happiness and comfort, but the Guru is also a witness to all kinds of intelligence, mind and thoughts. They are not involved in anyone’s good, bad, right wrong. Pleasant experiences have developed you, and similarly unpleasant experiences. The pleasant experiences of life gave you height and sad experiences gave you depth and intelligence. The Guru element is witness to all of them- despite being beyond emotions, all the qualities were included.
There is no migration in life. Do not think that knowledge is a migration from life. Knowledge means to remain in life, witness everything and to remain in life. All you have to do is to have a firm belief that once you walk on the path, know that it will only be the best for you. Also Read: Guru Purnima: 14 great gurus of ancient India who gave religion and a lot to the country
