Gurugram. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that to make India a productive country, the youth will have to focus on penance. He said that young researchers face the challenge of taking the country to greater heights. We have to make the country play the role of Vishwa Guru as well as Vishwa Bandhu. India has a population of 60 to 70 crore youth. The aim should be to provide work to the youth and to fulfill the needs of the country as well as the needs of the world. Dharmendra Pradhan was delivering his address on the second day of the All India Researcher Conference organized at SGT University, Gurugram on Saturday. Speaking on the subject of Vision for Developed India, he said that the country’s policies and plans are made in accordance with the aspirations of the people. Youth will have to make collective efforts for a developed India. The responsibility of making meaningful the resolve of making 21st century India self-reliant lies on the shoulders of the youth. Dharmendra Pradhan said that youth are always innovative and creative. It is also written in Upanishad that youth is our creative. He said that developed India is only a matter that will take it to new heights in the future. Looking ahead to the period of Amritkaal 2047-2050, the vision of developed India has to be realized. When we study Vedas and Upanishads for centuries, many civilizations emerged and became extinct, but only those whose roots were deep were able to survive. He said that our heritage is deep, our roots are strong. If we review the history of 500 years, we will see that the sun had never set on Britain’s destiny, but today it has set.

Dharmendra Pradhan said that if we study the health and economic management of developed countries in the time of Covid, it will remind us that the country is indebted to its society and civilization for its material achievements. We are value based. Our method is multi-level, multilayer, omnipresent and all-touchable, hence we were able to survive during the Corona period. Dharmendra Pradhan said that the size of our economy has increased. In the year 2014, there were hundreds of startups. Now, if our conscious society, the vibrant society, fails to formulate its strategy, we will be left behind. We have to become owners, not managers, CEOs. He said that if India does not make cheap medicines then the epidemic will spread in the world. If India does not produce IT professionals and medicine professionals, there will be a question mark on the economic system. The Union Education Minister said that the Government of India has made a provision of Rs 1,000 crore for the National Education Policy. We are self-reliant in rocket science. When our leadership gave responsibility to the scientists, we were able to make Chandrayaan. For 25 years we have been a consumer country, although we are also producers in some areas. It is necessary to research on the needs of the citizens of India in the 21st century. Calling upon the researchers, Dharmendra Pradhan said that they should do research as per the need of the country. Research should not be limited only to science, technology and engineering, it should also have sensitivity. Today environment is the biggest challenge. We gave respect to water and air. We considered the soil as our mother, but the world called us conservative. The world believed in materialism, but we believed in Panchatattva. He said that all the youth should reach new dimensions by doing penance with determination towards making the country developed and self-reliant.
