Years later, she revealed that she used to work in a salon. In Gauhar Khan’s podcast, Shilpa said that after marrying Banker Anteen Ranjit, she said goodbye to cinema and went abroad. The actress further said, ‘To keep herself busy, I did a hairdressing course in New Zealand because I found this course connected with acting somehow. I mean actors in films like makeup need makeup. There is equally necessary hairdressing for them. So after leaving acting, I became a hairdresser. ‘
A truth of SSC failed actress changed life
Shilpa Shirodkar made another disclosure and said, “I told my husband to make my resume.” After which he asked, ‘What should I write in it?’ I said, ‘Don’t write a lie, just write the truth, SSC failure and my film work too.’ Shilpa said that the truth was written in the resume and two jobs offers were found in a single day, after which she worked as a credit controller in ‘Dun and Bradustratte’. A few days after the job, he came to know that he was pregnant. Let me tell you, he was last seen not in a film or serial but in Salman Khan’s reality show ‘Bigg Boss 18’.
