In this match, Samarset, batting first, scored a huge score of 225/6. Tom Kohaler-Cadmore scored a stormy innings of 90 runs off 39 balls, including 8 fours and 7 sixes. Will Same also scored 32 and Sean Dickson scored 28*. Essex’s bowlers were killed a lot, Mohammad Amir (3) other than the wicket, no other bowler could leave the impact.
In response, Essex’s team was reduced to just 130 runs. Samarset won by 95 runs and secured a place in the quarterfinals. Matt Henry took 4 wickets, while Overton and Meridith took 2–2 wickets.
