Manoj Tiwary Called Gautam Gambhir Hypocrite: The Asia Cup 2025 is slowly getting closer. The tournament starting from 09 September is now less than 2 weeks left. Meanwhile, Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir was called Pankhadi. It is worth noting that the fellow player who played with Gambhir made such a big charge on him.
In fact, Gambhir was accused by former batsman Manoj Tiwari, who played with him for Team India. He believes that before becoming the head coach of Team India, Gambhir was against the match against Pakistan, but now he is ready to play against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025.
Gautam Gambhir should also oppose
Talking to CricTracker, Manoj Tiwari said that Gambhir should oppose the match against Pakistan, just as he used to do earlier. Due to this, Manoj accused Team India’s head coach of being ‘hypocritical’.
Manoj Tiwari said, “I always feel that he is Pankhadi. He is a hypocrite because when he was not a coach of Team India, he said that he should never have a match between India and Pakistan. Will he do it now? He is the coach of the team that will play from Pakistan in the Asia Cup. Why does he not resign and say that I will not be a part of Team India, because you are playing with Pakistan.”
Questions raised on choosing Yashasvi Jaiswal
Manoj Tiwari also questioned why opener batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal was not selected in the Asia Cup squad? Manoj said that it is Gambhir himself that Jaiswal is one of the players who are the future of Team India.
Manoj Tiwari said, “Gambhir had said that Jaiswal is one of the players who are the future of Team India and they are also players who will not be kept out of the T20 team. They should be given a long chance to play and is no longer in the team.”
Always a hypocrite
Manoj Tiwari further said, “So apart from these two-four statements, where he said and he reversed it right, it is enough. So, I always felt that he is a hypocritical and he has always been a hypocritical.”
