Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann
The issue of water between Punjab and Haryana seems to be getting bigger. Today, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reached Bhakra Dam in Nangar today with water, he openly opposed giving additional water to Haryana. He said that Bhakra Vyas Management Board (BBMB) officials are trying to steal the water of Punjab daily, I will not let them succeed in their intention.
‘Tried to steal water’
According to ANI, CM Mann, who reached Nangal Dam, said, “He (Haryana) once again tried to steal water. The people here thwarted those efforts. But the BJP sends BBMB (Bhakra Beas Management Board) everyday. Will give. “
Further CM Mann said, “The army asked for water in Rajasthan, we gave water overnight. But we do not have any more water.”
‘What farming will Haryana do’
Chief Minister Mann also attacked former Haryana CM and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. He said that Manohar Lal is also making water issues a question of his honor, I do not understand what farming Haryana will do with this water in 8 days, while we are giving drinking water according to their needs.
I will not give water of Punjab’s rights to anyone- CM
He further said that I will stay here and illegally will not be allowed to take water for Punjab, BJP is doing such politics in this crisis, on the one hand the situation on the border is bad and on the other hand we have to fight double battle to save our water. He further said that drones also appeared on Ranjit Sagar and Shahpur Kandi Dam, the dams of Punjab are already on the target of enemies and in such circumstances the local people have to gather on the Nang Dam to save their water.
