Govinda’s sister Kamini Khanna reacted to the news of Govinda and Sunita’s divorce in a conversation with Amar Ujala and said that differences in the family are not a big deal. He said that Govinda is like a son for him and she still looks at him with the same look. He further said, “Sometimes every house has some discord, it is part of life. But it should not be forgotten that the husband-wife relationship is the most special. In this, both understand each other and solve the problems. I am confident that Govinda and Sunita will also handle their relationship.”

Govinda’s manager also responded

Talking to Hindustan Times, Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha said on the reports of the actor and his wife’s divorce that the media reports are based on old incidents. He said, “They are living the same as they lived before. Govinda’s office and house are very close, so it is not right to say that they are living separately. The reality is that both are together and life is going on as before. The reports of divorce are being thrown, they are actually old things which are being introduced repeatedly. There is nothing new in it.”

Tension between Govinda and Sunita?

Govinda and Sunita are together for the last 40 years. Both were tied in marriage in 1987 and both have two children Tina and Yashvardhan Ahuja. A Hotterfly report claimed that the two have been trying to resolve their differences since June. In a recent interview, Sunita Ahuja did not comment on any claim made earlier, but she was seen expressing love for her husband and said that Govinda could not love him much.
