Heavy rains in Himachal- 285 roads closed, 39 killed

Himachal Pradesh has been raining heavily since Sunday. Due to landslide, the movement of vehicles on 285 roads across the state has stopped. Since the monsoon, 39 people have died in the state so far. In the last 24 hours, 3 have lost their lives.

On Monday morning, Landslide was held near Bhubhu Jot Tunnel of Thalout on Mandi-Kallu National Highway in Himachal. Due to this, many vehicles were stuck inside the tunnel for 5 hours. Due to alert, schools are closed in 4 districts of Himachal today.

5 died due to lightning in Bhojpur, Buxar and Nalanda in Bihar. At the same time, water suddenly increased in Lagurahi waterfall in Imamganj in Gaya. 6 girls were swept away in the strong current. Local people took everyone out safely.

According to the Meteorological Department, today there will be rain in 31 states and central ruled states. Red alert has been issued in Uttarakhand and Jharkhand. There are strong rains in 12 states including Madhya Pradesh-Rajasthan and Yellow alert in 17 states.

Lightning fell on house in Jammu, family’s life left
Lightning fell at a house at around 7 am on Monday morning on the outskirts of Jammu city, causing a lot of damage to the house. Officials said that the incident is from Dhinadi Khurd village of Bishnah tehsil of Jammu district. Many electronic goods of the house were damaged due to lightning.
