The wild area of Warano in Lolab region of Jammu and Kashmir is receiving heavy rains. This rain is happening with a loud voice. According to initial reports, heavy water is flowing in the area after the incident. However, there is no news of loss of life and property yet. Officials said that they are keeping a close watch on the situation.

Officials said the local people have confirmed that the area has received heavy rains with loud noises, causing a minor damage to the land. However, there has been no incident like cloudburst. The public is advised to avoid spreading uncomfortable information and rely only authentic sources for updates.

Life disrupted due to heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir

In the month of August, many areas of Jammu and Kashmir have received heavy rains. There have been incidents like cloudburst in Kathua, Kishtwar, Ramban and other districts. This has caused incidents of floods and landslides. Life has also been badly affected.

Cloud burst in Kishtwar

On August 14, a cloudburst in Chasoti village of Kishtwar caused severe havoc. So far 61 people have been confirmed the death. More than 200 people are missing. More than 500 people were rescued, while 180 were injured.

CM Abdullah reviewed

NDRF and army are engaged in removing people from debris. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met the affected families and also reviewed the relief work.
