Air India Plane Crash: Air India has confirmed that flight AI171 from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick crashed after flying today. The flight Boeing 787-8 aircraft, which left Ahmedabad at 13.38 am, had 242 passengers and crew members. Of these, 169 are Indian citizens, 53 British citizens, 1 Canadian citizen and 7 Portuguese citizens. The injured are being taken to nearest hospitals.
