Chaturthi kab hai 2025: Today i.e. 12 August 2025, on Tuesday, the holy fast of Hermb Sankashti Chaturthi is being celebrated. This Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month is also known as Bahula Chaturthi, which is considered special for the worship of Lord Ganesha as well as cow. On this day, Lord Ganesha’s Hermb Swaroop is worshiped, which are considered to be five mirrors and ten arms. Bhadrapada, Krishna Chaturthi’s beginning- 12 August 2025, starts from 08:40 am on Tuesday,
Closing of Hermb Sankashti Chaturthi- 13 August 2025, day will be on Wednesday at 06:35 am.
Time of moonrise on Bahula/ Hermb Sankashti Chaturthi:
At night 09:19 minutes.
Please tell that the fast is done only after offering the moon to the moon.
How to worship? Devotees who observe the fast of Hermb Sankashti Chaturthi observe Nirjala or Falahar fast throughout the day and worship Lord Ganesha and Chandra deity in the evening.
1. Resolve to fast: After getting up early in the morning and taking a bath, remember Lord Ganesha and take a pledge to fast.
2. Preparation for Pooja: Install the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha by laying a red cloth at a post at the place of worship.
3. Worship method: Bath Lord Ganesha with Ganga water. After this, offer them flowers, durva grass, akshat, incense, lamp, and modak or laddus.
4. Chanting Mantra: It is considered very auspicious to chant the mantra ‘Om Gan Ganpataye Namah’ or ‘Om Hermbay Namah’ during worship.
