The two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp will introduce the ‘Battery-e-Sarvis’ (BAAS) model for its upcoming electric scooter Vida VX2 from next month. BAAS is a fee -based model, in which the price of its battery is kept separate at the price of electric vehicle (EV). This provides the option of payment or rent for the battery directly in terms of use instead of ownership.

This reduces the cost of EV and makes it easier to buy. This is especially attractive to those concerned about the battery malfunction and changing it.

The company said in a statement on Wednesday that the BAAS membership solution with the flexible ‘Pay-Ej-U-Go’ model would significantly reduce the cost of advanced ownership, which will make electric transport accessible to more affordable and comprehensive customer base. According to the statement that this will give customers a separate funding option for scooter chassis and batteries, which will reduce the important initial capital expenditure and convert it into managed monthly payment. ”
