High court angry with FIR language on MP Minister Shah
The High Court has expressed displeasure over the language of the FIR recorded on Colonel Sophia Qureshi on the controversial statement of the Madhya Pradesh minister. The double bench of the High Court on Thursday described the FIR against Minister Vijay Shah as only Khanapurti.
The High Court said that now the police will monitor this police investigation. It is necessary to do so so it is not affected under any pressure. The High Court will again hear the matter after holidays.
The Supreme Court said- responsibility is expected from the minister
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court refused to hear the petition of Minister Vijay Shah. The Supreme Court asked why you did not go to the High Court. What kind of statements are you making? Should see how the situation is? You are in responsible posts, should be responsible.
High court comments and state government’s argument
Madhya Pradesh government- Advocate General Prashant Singh told the court that an FIR was lodged against Vijay Shah at Manpur police station in Indore at 7:55 pm on Wednesday. Police is investigating.
High Court- Justice Atul Sreedharan said that it is not an investigation into any murder, but a case related to an objectionable speech. In such a situation, there is no need for a long investigation.
A division bench of High Court Justice Atul Sreedharan and Justice Anuradha Shukla had given their order on Thursday said… On seeing the FIR completely, there was not a single mention of the suspect’s actions, which satisfies the elements of crimes filed against him. The FIR was recorded in such a way that it can be canceled if it is challenged under Section 482 of the previous CRPC, as it lacks physical details. The court directs that the entire order of May 14 will be read as part of Para 12 of the FIR.
Minister Vijay Shah gave a controversial statement on Colonel Sophia Qureshi. He was described as the sister of the terrorists. The Madhya Pradesh High Court itself raised this case on Wednesday. The bench of Justice Atul Sreedharan of Jabalpur High Court and Justice Anuradha Shukla had given instructions to the DGP for an FIR on Minister Shah.
