High Court order- FIR on MP Minister Shah
The Madhya Pradesh High Court on Wednesday directed to register an FIR against Tribal Affairs Minister Vijay Shah in a controversial statement on Colonel Sophia Qureshi. A bench of Jabalpur High Court Justice Atul Sreedharan and Justice Anuradha Shukla themselves took notice in this matter.
The court asked the DGP to register an FIR and take action within 4 hours. In the case of the minister’s statement, the rural DIG Nimesh Aggarwal says that we have not received orders at the moment. A case will be registered as soon as the order comes.
The High Court found that prima facie the Code of Justice of India proves to be crime against the minister under the 2023 (BNS).
A crime is formed under Section 152 of the Indian Code, which declares the acts that endanger the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India as a crime.
Section 192 of BNS also creates prima facie crime, which is related to spreading disharmony between various communities on the basis of religion, caste, place of birth, residence, language or caste.
The High Court said that insulting Colonel Sophia Qureshi, who believes in Islam religion, attracts the above streams. The court ordered the DGP to register an FIR against the minister by this evening. If the DGPs mistake in doing so, action will be taken against them under the contempt of court.
The minister attended an event in Raikunda village of Mhow, Indore on Sunday. It was here that a controversial statement was given. However, the video went viral on Tuesday. He described Colonel Sophia Qureshi as the sister of the terrorists.
Vijay Shah said, ‘Modi ji had said that I will enter the house and hit it. I will do it inside the ground. The terrorists were sitting in a three -storey house. Blowed the roof with a big bomb, then flew the middle roof and went inside and made his family like this. It can only do a 56 -inch chest. ‘
Congress demands, BJP removed Shah from party
After the High Court’s automatic cognizance and FIR instructions on the statement of Minister Vijay Shah, the Congress has demanded a case against Vijay Shah. Former Union Minister Arun Yadav has said that Vijay Shah should be shown the way out of the BJP with immediate effect.
