Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will participate in Congress’s Delhi Nyay Yatra.
Shimla, November 8 (IANS). Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will join Congress’s Nyay Yatra in Delhi on Friday.
While talking to the media, the Chief Minister said that Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge will address a rally in Delhi. I am leaving for Delhi to participate in this rally. After this I will also go to Maharashtra and Mumbai.
However, when he was asked a question on the samosa controversy, he did not react to it in any way. In fact, the samosas ordered for the Chief Minister were served to his staff. It is being said in media reports that it is being investigated.
On October 8, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Devendra Yadav and senior leader Ajay Maken will flag off the month-long Delhi Nyaya Yatra at Rajghat. Hundreds of Congress workers will be present on this occasion.
Congress state president Devendra Yadav had made a post on social media platform X on October 28. In the post he had written that Nyaya Yatra will start in Delhi from 8th November. Taking inspiration from Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, Delhi Congress will start Delhi Nyaya Yatra. Delhi Congress will reach all the assemblies with the message of justice against the injustice happening in Delhi.
Assembly elections are to be held on 70 assembly seats of Delhi in the year 2025. Congress wants to enter the election field this time with full preparation. Congress has made a plan to corner the present Aam Aadmi Party government on issues like air pollution in Delhi, Yamuna pollution, poor condition of roads, lack of treatment in hospitals, and the hue and cry for water in Delhi during summers. Congress is announcing through Nyaya Yatra that it will field candidates on 70 out of 70 assembly seats on its own.
