The Honda CB300F flex-fuel motorcycle is powered by a 293.52 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has today launched the new CB300F flex-fuel motorcycle in India, which is India’s first 300 cc flex-fuel motorcycle. Buyers can now book the 2024 Honda CB300F flex-fuel at Honda’s Bigwing dealerships and it is priced at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This comes as part of the brand’s global goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
The CB300F flex-fuel launch comes at a time when Honda is planning to start production of the Activa-based EV before the end of this year. As for performance, the motorcycle features the familiar 293.52 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, four-stroke, FI engine that runs on E85 fuel (85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline).
It produces 24.54 hp of maximum power and 25.9 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is mated to a 6-speed transmission and gets assist and slipper clutch as standard. The 2024 Honda CB300F flex-fuel is offered in a single variant and two paint schemes namely Sports Red and Matte Axis Gray Metallic. It will be available at dealerships from the last week of October 2024.

The CB300F flex-fuel is equipped with disc brakes at both ends. It gets a 276 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear which is equipped with dual channel ABS and Honda’s torque control system as standard. As far as suspension is concerned, Golden upside-down front forks and a 5-step adjustable rear monoshock unit have been used.
Additionally, the motorcycle features all-LED lighting. It also has an all-digital instrument console and displays information like speedometer, odometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, twin trip meters, gear position indicator and a clock. It also includes an Intelligent Ethanol Indicator, which flashes if the vehicle is filled with high ethanol (more than 85%).
