Raja raghuvanshi murder case: The Meghalaya Police, which is engaged in adding links of the famous king Raghuvanshi murder case, has made another new disclosure in the case. The Meghale police clarified that the missing jewelery of King Raghuvanshi has been hidden by his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi somewhere and the police is investigating the matter intensively.

Where are the king’s ornaments?

Meghalaya Director General of Police (DGP) Idashisha Nongrang told in a press conference that Sonam Raghuvanshi has told the investigators that King Raghuvanshi’s jewels have been placed on a “special place”. Nongrang said, “We will investigate it.”

Complete case of murder

Raja Raghuvanshi and his wife Sonam went missing from Shillong in Meghalaya on May 23 during their honeymoon trip. After this, on June 2, the body of King Raghuvanshi was found in a deep moat near a waterfall near Sohra (also known as Cherrapunji) in East Khasi Hills district. But wife Sonam was missing. The search for Sonam continued. She was arrested from Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh on the morning of 9 June, which is about 1,200 km from the crime location. Sonam surrendered to the police.

Conspiracy to murder with lover

According to the police, Sonam along with her lover Raj Kushwaha conspired to kill her husband Raja. About two weeks after the wedding, three other persons were hired to kill the king during a honeymoon. These three killers- Akash Thakur, Anand Kurmi and Vishal Chauhan, who are friends of Raj Kushwaha, one of whom is a cousin of Raj.

Anything else in the case? Police investigating

DGP Nongrang said that the police is not only considering Prem Triangle as a motive, but is also investigating from other angles. Nongrang said, “We are investigating whether there is anything else in this case. It is unusual that Sonam takes so much enmity towards her husband within a few days of marriage.” “We are investigating all possible angles. There is enough evidence and all aspects are being added,” he said.

Crime scene of murder recreate

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the Meghalaya Police recovered the dava used in the murder of King Raghuvanshi after recruiting the crime scene with four accused in Sohra district. Police said the steel handle was recovered from the gap near Weisadong Falls, where the king’s body was found on 2 June.
