Housefull 5 will be released on June 6
Akshay Kumar is currently in the news for his upcoming film ‘Sky Force’. This multi -starrer film will feature Akshay Kumar along with Abhishek Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandes, Nargis Fakhri and Nana Patekar. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on this Friday i.e. June 6, but it has started rich in the makers before its release. In the case of advance booking, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Housefull 5’ is earning a lot and according to the report of Caiknilk, the film has so far earned more than Rs 2.5 crore in India.
Advance booking of Housefull 5
The makers is releasing Housefull 5 in 2D format and more than 11 thousand shows will run on the first day. So far, around 1 lakh tickets of the film have been sold and it has earned more than 2.5 crores. According to the trade website report, 84,916 tickets have been sold for 11,553 shows till Wednesday evening of Housefull 5. The film is to be released on Friday, so the makers hope that the advance booking of the film can be booked on Thursday.
Kesari Chapter 2 left behind in advance booking
According to trade website Caikanilk, ‘Housefull 5’ has broken the record of Akshay’s previous film ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ in terms of advance booking. Akshay Kumar, Ananya Pandey and R Madhavan starrer Kesari Chapter 2 earned Rs 1.84 crore in advance booking. According to this, this film has already broken the record of Kesari Chapter 2 and now it remains to be seen whether it is able to overtake the ‘Sky Force’ or not. Akshay Kumar, Nimrit Kaur, Veer Pahadia and Sara Ali Khan starrer Sky Force had earned 3 crore 78 lakhs in the case of advance booking.
Housefull series films
However, if we look at the advance booking of ‘Housefull 4’, ‘Housefull 5’ is still behind it. In 2019, ‘Housefull 4’, released on the occasion of Diwali, earned 8 crores in advance booking. At the same time, the film collected more than 19 crores on Opening Day. In the case of the sequel, all the parts of the houseful are successful. The first film of this series was released in 2010, in which Arjun Kapoor, Ritesh Deshmukh, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta and Jia Khan were seen alongside Akshay. The film had a worldwide collection of 119 crores. This was followed by Housefull 2 in 2012, Housefull 3 released in 2016 and Housefull 4, released in 2019.
