Chaturmas starts for 4 months from Devshayani Ekadashi itself. No Manglik works are done in this month. Dev falls asleep for four months. Chaturmas lives from Devshayani Ekadashi to Dev Uthani Ekadashi. Devshayani Ekadashi will remain on 06 July 2025 and on 1 November 2025, Dev will remain Ekadashi.
Sawan Month:- The first month of Chaturmas is Sawan after spending the rest of Ashada. In Chaturmas, Lord Vishnu goes to Yoga Nidra for four months in Kshir Sagar and then Lord Shiva conducts the universe. This month, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati worship. Do Jalabhishek on Shivling on Monday and worship of Goddess Parvati on Tuesday. In the month of Sawan, every wish can be fulfilled by worshiping Shiva and his worship. All kinds of problems are solved in this month.
Bhadrapada month:- The second month of Chaturmas is Bhadrapada in which the grace of Lord Krishna and Ganesha is received. Shri Krishna was revealed in this month and in this month, the 11 -day Ganpati festival of Lord Ganesha is also celebrated. It is considered the best month for the use of children. Reciting Srimad Bhagwat throughout the month is very auspicious.
Ashwin (Sharad) month:- This is the month of Mata Durga, the third month of Chaturmas. This is the month of Shakti Puja, worship and celebration. Along with this, it is also the month of peace and satisfaction of fathers. In the same month, 9 days of Sharadiya Navratri and 16 days of Shraddha Paksha. This is the month of all kinds of victory and boon in life. Durga Saptashati must be recited in this month.
Kartik Mass:- The last month of Chaturmas i.e. the month of Kartik is the month of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. This month, Dev gets up and auspicious work starts. Diwali, the biggest festival of wealth, comes in this month. Tulsi and Shaligram also have a wonderful marriage in this month. Chaturmas ends in this month.
