The foundation stone laying ceremony of redevelopment of Janaki temple was organized at Punaura Dham on Friday in Sitamarhi, Bihar. Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the Bhoomi Pujan of the temple and laid the foundation stone of the temple. Punaura Dham is the birthplace of Maa Sita and it is here that Bhoomi Pujan has been done for the comprehensive scheme of overall development of Punaura Dham Temple and Complex. How many areas will the mother Janaki temple be?

According to the information, 17 acres of available land has already been used for the temple of Maa Janaki at Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi district. Apart from this, 50 acres of land has been provided separately. That is, the temple of Mata Sita and its complex will be on a total of 67 acres and all facilities will be provided here.

How much will the cost will be in the construction of Sita temple?

The cabinet of the Bihar government had approved Rs 882.87 crore on July 1 for the development of the Punaura Dham temple complex. Out of this amount, 137 crore rupees will be spent on the development of the old temple and its premises. At the same time, Rs 728 crore will be used for tourism related works. In addition, 16 crore rupees will be spent on widespread maintenance for 10 years. Home Minister Amit Shah has said that the temple will be developed at a cost of Rs 890 crore. Out of this, 728 crore rupees will be spent on the circumambulation path and other heads.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has laid the foundation stone for redevelopment of Janaki temple in Punoradham in Sitamarhi, Bihar on Friday. He performed Bhoomi Pujan for the redevelopment of the temple. Let us tell you that a large number of pilgrims (domestic and foreign) come to Punaradham. Punaura Dham is located about five kilometers west of Sitamarhi district headquarters in Bihar.
