The film ‘Hum Tum’, made under the banner of Yash Raj Films, has completed 21 years. Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Rishi Kapoor were seen in the lead roles in the film. Directed by Kunal Kohli and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film was successful at the box office.
Director Kunal Kohli shared many interesting things related to it in the past. Kunal had told that when he took this film to Rishi Kapoor ji, then he had only 7 scenes in this film and he refused to say that he likes to do big films, not just 7 scenes.
But when Rishi Kapoor read every scene, he liked the script and agreed to do this film. Kunal Kohli had said that ‘Hum Tum’ was the second film of my career on the shooting set, while the first film did not run much at the box office.
He had said, during the shooting of ‘Hum Tum’, I had a fight with Saif on the set. At that time Rishi ji was also present there and he scolded both of us and said that do not fight like children like elders. Then I went and talked to Saif and explained to him that this film is very important for the career of both of us.
At that time, some films of Saif also flopped. After that Saif understood the situation and after that we became friends and never quarreled again.
