“I am standing in space at this time, you can’t reach me”, what did the minister say
Minister Jitendra Singh
New Delhi: There was a special discussion on India’s first astronaut at the International Space Station (ISS) in the Lok Sabha and the important role of the country’s space program in achieving the target of “developed India” by 2047. The discussion was started by Union Minister of State for Science and Technology (Independent Charge) and Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh in the Prime Minister’s Office, who also takes charge of the Space Department. However, the opposition members repeatedly disrupted his speech and shouted slogans and also showed placards on a special intensive revision campaign in Bihar.
Dr. Singh responded to the opposition’s opposition in a light manner on this and said: “I am standing in space at this time, you cannot reach me.”
He said this when the opposition MPs raised their banners and tried to stop his picture on the television screen of the House. But his target was missed as he had strategically changed his seat on the back bench before starting the speech.
Who will tell whom we will listen to the separation ..
Appealing to the opposition to rise above party differences, Dr. Singh said: “Although you are very angry to participate in the discussion I started by me, I still beg the head by bowing my head … Even if you are angry with the government, come forward and participate in this important discussion on space so that the message given to the nation is correct.”
While narrating the famous lion of poet Ahmed Faraz, he said: “Who will tell whom we will be able to listen to the separation, you are angry with me, then come for the time.” Then he said it for the House as follows: “Who will tell whom we will be able to tell this noise-o-gul; if you are upset with me, come for Subhanshu.”
Despite the opposition’s interruptions, the minister said, India’s space program has become an important pillar towards self-reliance and national development, with milestones such as Chandrayaan-3 and astronaut missions strengthen the country’s position as global space power.
