Jasprit Bumrah is finally enjoying his time off from the game as he gears up for a huge cricketing season ahead. Recently ace athlete Neeraj Chopra came up with a radical suggestion for Jasprit Bumrah.

'I feel he should' – Neeraj Chopra's suggestion for Jasprit Bumrah
Neeraj Chopra exclaimed during the event “i like jasprit bumrah, I find his action unique. I feel he should lengthen his run-up to add more pace” Jasprit Bumrah has always bowled with a short run-up since the start of his cricket career.
The right-arm pacer during the recent ODI World Cup clocked up good speeds on occasions reaching mid-to-late 140 KPH. Jasprit Bumrah played a key role in India's run to the finals of the tournament which was played in his home ground Ahmedabad.
The Olympic Champion also said “As a javelin thrower, we often discuss how bowlers can increase their pace if they start their run-up from a little further back. I like Bumrah's style.”
The event organizers quizzed Neeraj Chopra if he saw the ODI World Cup final in Ahmedabad. The champion athlete replied “This was the first time I watched a match fully. When I was on the flight, India had lost three wickets already. Virat (Kohli) bhai and KL Rahul were batting when I reached. There are some technical things that I don't understand.
Probed further on the subject, Neeraj Chopra said “Batting in the daytime wasn't very easy. In the evening, I think, batting became easy. But our guys tried. Sometimes, it's just not our day. But, frankly, everyone had a great tournament.”
Showing sportsman spirit, Neeraj Chopra praised the Australian team and their mindset. “Maybe, somewhere mentally, the Australian team held an edge at the start. When they bowled, I found they had a strong mindset. In the end, they had completely flipped it over. They were confident about their game,”
The young Indian superstar is set to defend his gold medal next year when he takes to the field. Neeraj Chopra has already qualified for the 2024 Olympics which is to be held in Paris and hopes to bring more glory to India.
