This is not the first time Gautam Gambhir has received such threats. Earlier in November 2021, when he was a BJP MP, he received a similar threatening email. Gambhir has recently returned from France with his family on holiday and is on a break during IPL 2025. Let me tell you, in July 2024, he was made the head coach of the Indian cricket team in place of Rahul Dravid.
