English fast bowler Jofra Archer, who played an important role in Lord’s Test against India, has made it clear that he can also play the next two matches but he is not accepted in the series. Not only this, Jofra Archer is also gearing up for the much -awaited Ashes series to be held later this year and he wants to be a part of the tour of Australia.

Archer’s career has been affected by repeated injuries and he recently made a successful comeback in Test cricket after nearly four and a half years through Lord’s Test against India. Talking to Sky Sports, Archer revealed that he is keen to continue to play in the remaining matches of the current series and England’s medical team is closely monitoring him to avoid any kind of obstruction.

Archer said, “If he allows me, I can play the remaining two (Tests against India). I do not want to lose this series. I told Kisi (England Men’s Managing Director, Rob’s) that I want to play Test Summer and Ashes. I think I have already set up a tick and I will try my best to sit in the plane in November.”

Archer played an important role in England’s exciting win at Lord’s. He gave England initial important successes in both innings. Archer dismissed dangerous Yashasvi Jaiswal twice and laid the foundation of victory for the hosts. England last won the Ashes in the 2010-11 series on Australian soil, where James Anderson and Alastair Cook played crucial roles. At the same time, England will also visit Australia for the first time in the Bazball era, in such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether he can beat Australia in his house or not.
