Airtel Launches Cloud Service: Private telecom service provider Airtel on Monday announced to launch its cloud service ‘Airtel’ cloud. Bharti Airtel Managing Director Gopal Vittal said that Airtel Cloud develops completely in the country, host and telco-grade in the country (in line with telecommunications needs. He said that the company started working on it seven years ago. This is 40 percent cheaper than other service providers. He hoped that in the next 10 years, a large number of customers would join this platform.

Vittal reported that Airtel’s unit is being used in Delhi and Chennai in Airtel’s unit for this software platform based artificial intelligence (AI). The cloud analyzer will be absolutely free on which people wishing to take cloud service will be able to see how Airtel Cloud will be affordable compared to other service providers for them. It has been launched under the company’s digital unit Extelifeay.

Airtel Cloud will be available for subscription from August 5. This will be B-to-B service. Private companies, public sector units and government agencies can take this service for their apps, data storage and computation. Its total storage capacity is 250 PETA byte. Airtel is currently using it for itself and its subsidiary units and two lakh crore transactions are being done every day.

The company said that the cloud platform is designed to handle a 140 million transaction per minute for Airtel’s internal needs in India and is now being made available to meet the constantly increasing digital needs of the country’s companies. The platform is hosted on the next generation of sustainable data centers, which features Gen-AI based provisioning. It operates 300 certified cloud experts. It is a very safe and reliable service, providing services such as Infrastructure-e-Service, Platform-e-Services and Advance Connectivity.

The company claims that its cloud service will help its customers to increase fast processing, low cost and increase average profit (ARPU) per customer. This solution focuses on every aspect of the value chain of the telecom sector.

The company also announced three international partnerships for the new platform launched. The ‘Extellifoy Work’ platform will be implemented for Singtel’s field teams in Singapore. This platform will provide AI based features such as fleet optimization, automated task management, and real-time tracking and governance capabilities, which will increase the productivity of teams and work more efficiently.

The second partnership is with the Globe Telecom under which the Actelfoy will set up its next generation AI -based customer service platform in the Philippines ‘Extelifai Sarv’. The third partnership is with Airtel Africa, under which it will be provided with services such as Extellifoy Data Engine, Extelifoy Work and Extelifoy IQ. The more than 1.5 lakh field teams in 14 countries of Airtel Africa will get the market-related information deeply, making them able to make target strategies at a microscopic level and will be possible to make secure, real-time, single-channel connectivity to customers, which will make both service quality and customer experience better.
