1. Do the consecration from Ganga water at home: This is the simplest and effective way that you can get the virtue of Kavad Yatra.
• Preparation and purification: Wake up early in the morning and take a bath and wear clean clothes. Clean the place of worship of your house thoroughly.
• Prepare the urn: Fill the Ganges water in a clean copper or any other metal lotus. If there is no Ganga water, then mix a few drops of Ganga water or any other holy river water in normal water.
• Establishment of Shivling: If you have Shivling in your house, install it. If not, you can also worship Lord Shiva in front of a picture or picture.
