Brussels/New York: Despite the attack on Iran’s nuclear bases by Israel and the United States, Tehran is still facing many threats. At present, many European countries and the United Nations are considering restoration restoration on Iran. France, Britain and Germany have agreed that if there was no concrete progress on the nuclear deal with Iran, the United Nations’s strict sanctions will be re -implemented by the end of August. This information was given by two European diplomats on the condition of being anonymous.
Warned Iran
France, Britain and Germany have warned Iran, saying that if it did not compromise, it may have to face strict sanctions. Ambassadors of the three European countries at the United Nations met at the Mission in Germany on Tuesday, where they discussed with Iran about a possible agreement and restoration of ban. On Monday, there was a phone conversation between US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Foreign Ministers of the three European countries on this issue.
America said-will not make nuclear weapons in any situation
The US Foreign Ministry said in a statement that all the parties emphasized that Iran could not develop or attain nuclear weapons under any circumstances. Our joint goal is that we will not let Iran make atomic bombs under any circumstances.
What was in 2015 nuclear deal
Earlier, Iran signed a nuclear agreement with the US in 2015. Britain, France and Germany were also part of the historic nuclear deal with Iran, which aims to limit the nuclear program of Iran. However, the then US President Donald Trump had left the agreement during his tenure saying that it is not “adequately rigid”.
France wants restrictions on Iran again
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Baro told reporters at Brussels on Tuesday, “It is appropriate and necessary until Iran shows concrete commitment to ban on nuclear proliferation. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi recently indicated that Iran could resume nuclear dialogue with the US, but on a condition that he needs a sure guarantee that there will be no more attack from the US or Israel on his nuclear installations. He said that “such attacks have made the solution even more complicated. We cannot move forward in talks until such actions guaranteed such actions in the future.” (AP)
