1. Darshan of Pashupati Nath: If you are seeing Baba Kedarnath, then it is believed that it is incomplete darshan. Because the Jyotirlinga of Kedarnath is incomplete Shivling with half of which is located in the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal. That is why the philosophy of this Jyotirlinga is complete only by visiting both. If you have seen the Shivling in Kedarnath, then definitely listen or read the story of this Shivling. The giant Damrunuma rock came out of the upper mountains and suddenly stopped at a distance of 50 feet behind the temple. This direct incident was seen by two sadhus climbing a tree in the flood. Due to that rock, the strong flood water was cut into two parts and flowed from both sides of the temple. At that time, 300 to 500 people took shelter in the temple. According to the sadhus, his soul trembled after seeing that rock coming towards the temple. He started chanting Kedar Baba’s name and started waiting for his death, but the rock of Baba’s miracle saved the temple and the people inside him.
5. Mandakini River: Here you must visit the Mandakini River, Saraswati and Alaknanda River. Do not forget to offer ancestor on the banks here or you are going to Badrinath Dham, then do Pitra Tarpan there. Especially, the rituals performed for the ancestors at a place called Brahma Kapal gives relief to the ancestors and the native from Pitra Dosha.
