SBI Credit Card New Rules from September 1: State Bank of India subsidiary SBI Card is going to implement new rules for some select cards from 1 September. Under the new rules, SBI Credit Card holders will not be given reward points on transactions. Lifestyle Home Centre SBI Card, Lifestyle Home Center SBI Card Select and Lifestyle Home Center SBI Card will stop receiving revolved points on digital gaming platforms/merchants and transactions related to government work for SBI Card Prime Card holders.

New changes will also be applicable in card protection plan

Along with this, from September 16, all CPP (Card Protection Plan) SBI Card customers will be automatically migrated to the plan variants based on their respective renewal dew date. Migration will be held next month and its information will be given by SMS/Email at least 24 hours before the date of the plan renewal dew date. Let us tell you that there are 3 card protection plans for SBI card. The price of the classic plan is Rs 999, the price of the premium plan is Rs 1499 and the price of the platinum plan is Rs 1999. Let us tell you that under these plans, security of up to Rs 1 lakh is provided on frauds with credit cards.

Company has already shut down the completion of Complimentary i.e. Free Air Accident Insurance Cover

The SBI Card had earlier discontinued the Rs 1 crore complementary air accident insurance to be given on some of its credit cards. The SBI card used to provide a complementary or free air accident insurance cover on its premium cards. The company has discontinued the Complementary Air Accident Insurance being given on SBI Card Elite, SBI Card Miles and SBI Card Miles Prime from July 15. Apart from this, a complementary air accident insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh on SBI Card Prime and SBI Card Pulse has also been closed from July 15.
