If you know, then just fill the pocket! Pakistan is careless even after the death of climbers
Pakistan Mountainers Death
Peshawar: Pakistan is a pauper country and it does not care about people’s lives for money. If you know, then just fill the pocket, something similar is being seen in Pakistan. In fact, Pakistan has not yet issued any warning or restriction for mountaineering operations. An official has given a statement about this. This statement of the officer has come at a time when climbers have died here recently.
‘Mountaineers are aware of risks and challenges’
Faizullah Farak, spokesperson of the Gilgit-Baltistan region government in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, said that climbers were well aware of bad weather and all other risks, challenges. There are some of the highest mountains in the world in this region. Farak said, “Despite this, they voluntarily accept these challenges and come here to climb these peaks.”
Chinese climber died
37 -year -old Chinese climber Guan Jing is one of these mountains who lost their lives. Last Tuesday, he died after being hit by falling rocks on the world’s second highest peak K2. The K2 mountain is known for its dangerous slopes and bad weather. The rescue team has recovered the body of Guan Jing. Farak said that on Sunday, his body was kept in the mortuary of Joint Military Hospital in Scardu. He said that Chinese officials have been contacted in Islamabad and “Now the decision in this regard is on them.”
Mountaineers died in Pakistan
Jing died several weeks after the death of German climber and Olympic gold medalist Lora Dahlmeyer during an attempt to climb Laila peak in the Karakoram mountain range. The bodies of foreign climbers killed in an attempt to mountaineering in Pakistan are usually recovered at the request of their families. However, if the family refuses to rescue, the remains are left to the same place where the climber died.
Millions of dollars are earned
It is worth noting that the mountaineering campaign is the backbone of the local economy, which gives a direct revenue of millions of dollars. Faizullah Farak says that a large number of people work in these campaigns from May to September and take care of their families throughout the year with this earnings. Every year hundreds of climbers try to climb the mountains in northern Pakistan. (Language)
