Ashadh month is the fourth month of Hindu month. Chatumas start with Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of this month i.e. Devshayani Ekadashi. From the day of Ashadhi Ekadashi, Dev falls asleep for four months, who then wakes up on Dev on Ekadashi. According to the English calendar, this time Chaturmas will start from 06 July 2025. These four months are the months of attaining accomplishment through tenacity or to make the body and mind healthy. If you also want to achieve any kind of accomplishment, then do 5 tasks.

Renounce the first task:

1. It is considered very auspicious to sleep on the floor during this period and to get up before sunrise.

2. Taking a bath well daily and most of the time should be silent. Renounce unnecessary dialogue.

3. One should eat only once a day. One time should take good food.

4. Do not consume oil made of oil in these four months, do not consume milk, sugar, yogurt, oil, brinjal, leafy vegetables, salty or spicy food, sweets, betel nuts, meat and alcohol.

5. Leafy vegetables in Shravan, such as spinach, greens etc., curd in Bhadrapada, milk in Ashwin, onion in Kartik, onion, garlic and urad dal, etc. are discarded.

6. In these 4 months, renounce emotional disorders like anger, jealousy, untrue words, bitter words, pride etc.

7. Make distance from all types of physical facilities, mobile, television, radio etc.

Second work chanting, meditating and yoga:

1. Meditate for 40-40 minutes in the morning and evening every morning and evening.

2. Sleep by meditating 20 minutes before going to bed at night.

3. If you want, keep chanting the name of your Ishta continuously.

4. You can chant for the accomplishment of a mantra.

Perform Kalpavas, the third task:

If the above work is not possible at home, then do Kalpavas during this time. If you want to achieve accomplishment, then do Kalpavas in a Guru’s ashram or do the following work by staying for 4 months in solitude.

1. Tapa: In these four months, according to the certain date or rule, observing mental restraint and celibacy, keep fast and perform meditation. During the practice, the seekers sleep on the floor or land. Do meditation, meditation or meditation every day.

2. Silence: These four months seekers remain silent. Silence increases the power of the mind. Staying silently, he focuses on the work for which you are doing spiritual movements gradually. Satsang with sadhus in these four months provides benefits in life.

3. Chanting: In Chaturmas, take a good bath every day. They get up in the heat and fall asleep early at night. We chant every morning, evening and night. In the afternoon, we do meditation as per rules. The accomplishment of mantras in Chaturmas is obtained quickly. Sabar mantras are proved even more quickly.

4. Mana: Shakti Yoga Sadhana: If you want in Chaturmas, you can awaken your powers or get the siddhis by receiving the grace of a goddess or gods. To awaken your power, do the mind: Shakti Yoga. Things of others can be known by its practice. When there is restraint in the state of knowledge, there is knowledge of another’s mind. If the mind is calm through silence, then the power to know the condition of another’s mind will be achieved. In the state of knowledge, restraint means that whatever is thought or understood, the situation of witnessing. If you increase the ability to look and hear carefully, the sound of the mind of the front will also be heard. This requires regular practice.

5. Do any one goddess or deity practice: Perform the practice of one of the 10 Mahavidyas. If you want, you can also do Bhairav ​​or Varahi Sadhana. You can practice one of the fourteen yoginis. There are also Yaksha, Yakshini, Apsara and Gandharva Sadhana, knowing well, do these practices in the company of a guru. Apart from this, Veer, Nag, Dev, heroine, Kinnar, Vampire Sadhana are also there. However, it is better to do sattvic practices- such as Hanuman Sadhana, Durga Sadhana, Varahi Sadhana, Vaishnavi Sadhana etc.
