Rain alert in many parts of the country
Imd rain alert: The monsoon is active across the country these days. Today, rain alert has been issued on 27 July in many parts of the country. Light rains may occur in many parts including Delhi’s Rohini, Narela, Pitampura, Badli, Mundka, West Vihar and Punjabi Bagh.

In many districts including Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, there is a period of rain. Heavy rains are expected in Banda, Chitrakoot, Agra, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Rampur and Bareilly. Pilibhit, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and nearby areas also have heavy rains. There is a possibility of lightning in Ballia, Lakhimpur Kheri, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar and Prayagraj with thunderstorms.
Rain in many parts of Rajasthan
There is a warning of heavy rains in many parts of Rajasthan, especially in some places in southeast Rajasthan, extremely heavy rains are likely. Banswara, Baran, Jhalawar, and Pratapgarh districts are alert of extremely heavy rain. Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Kota, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi, Tonk, Jaipur and Dausa districts have warned of heavy to heavy rain.
