Rain alert in many parts of the country
Imd rain alert: The monsoon is active across the country these days. Today, rain alert has been issued on 27 July in many parts of the country. Talking about the country’s capital Delhi and its surrounding areas, there will be a humid weather here, but the possibility of light rain has been expressed. Light rains may occur in many parts including Delhi’s Rohini, Narela, Pitampura, Badli, Mundka, West Vihar and Punjabi Bagh.
Alert for these districts of UP
In many districts including Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, there is a period of rain. Heavy rains are expected in Banda, Chitrakoot, Agra, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Rampur and Bareilly. Pilibhit, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and nearby areas also have heavy rains. There is a possibility of lightning in Ballia, Lakhimpur Kheri, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar and Prayagraj with thunderstorms.
Rain in many parts of Rajasthan
There is a warning of heavy rains in many parts of Rajasthan, especially in some places in southeast Rajasthan, extremely heavy rains are likely. Banswara, Baran, Jhalawar, and Pratapgarh districts are alert of extremely heavy rain. Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Kota, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi, Tonk, Jaipur and Dausa districts have warned of heavy to heavy rain. Light to moderate rains are expected in Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu and Nagaur. The heavy to heavy rainfall in eastern Rajasthan is expected to continue from 28 to 31 July. Light rain is expected in Bihar
Many districts of Bihar may receive light rain with strong winds. Districts like Patna, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Nawada, Gaya, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Buxar, Gopalganj and Vaishali may be affected.

In Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Uttarakhand, light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms are expected to occur. Light to moderate rainfall in most parts and heavy rains in some places due to the impact of low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal in Odisha. At the same time, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh may receive moderate to heavy rains. In addition, there is a alert of light to heavy rain in some parts of Madhya Pradesh.
