Khamenei addressed the nation today but immediately after his address, Israel attacked Tehran. Israel carried out this aerial attack in the Lavjan area of Tehran. It is believed that Lavjan is the area that has been a secret hideout of Khamenei. Iran refuses to surrender
Earlier, Iran’s Supreme Leader on Wednesday dismissed the US call to surrender to the fierce attacks of Israel and warned that any military partnership of Americans would cause irreparable damage. This is the second public presence of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei since the start of the Israeli attack six days ago.
This speech by Khamenei came a day after US President Donald Trump demanded “unconditional surrender” in the social media post. Trump warned Khamenei that the US knows where he is, but there is no plan to kill him, “At least not for now.”
Trump on Friday kept himself away from the sudden attack of Israel, causing the struggle to start, but in recent times he indicated the US more participation, saying that he wanted something bigger than the ceasefire. The US has also sent more military aircraft and warships in the region.
Khamenei dismissed Trump’s threatening and absurd statements and made it clear that the Iranian nation was not surrendering. He said in the video, “Iran, wise people who know its people and its history, never talk to this nation in the language of threats, because the Iranian nation is not going to surrender.” He said that Americans should know that any military partnership in the US will undoubtedly cause irreparable losses.
