Imran Khan’s PTI attacked Bilawal Bhutto on extradition statement, ‘Aaparipav political child’
Bilawal Bhutto, former Foreign Minister of Pakistan.
Islamabad: Imran Khan’s party has attacked the statement of former Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto to extradite the evidence by India for giving evidence to the individuals who came under investigation. Former PM Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly criticized Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari as a “immature political child”. Let me tell you that Bilawal Bhutto had allegedly asked India to get the transport of “sensitive persons” for giving evidence.
Bilawal Bhutto gave an extradition statement on this question
In an interview to Al Jazeera on Friday, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) president Bilawal said, “As part of a comprehensive dialogue with Pakistan, where terrorism will also be an issue, I am confident that Pakistan will not oppose any of these things.” The statement came when he was asked whether Pakistan Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET) may repay India as a goodwill step to India. On this, he said that Pakistan will not have any objection to extradite India to the individuals who came under investigation.
What did Imran’s party say?
Reacting to Bilawal’s statement, PTI spokesperson Sheikh Wakas Akram said on Saturday that PPP leaders are “immature political children”. According to a Don newspaper report, Akram said that this proposal of Bilawal is fatal from Pakistan’s national security point of view and such statements harm the country’s image on international forums. He said, “We do not understand why Bilawal is so eager to please India.” Targeting the former foreign minister, Akram said that he is repeatedly proving that he lacks political maturity, attitude and understanding of regional geopolitics.
Bilawal admitted that terrorist funding cases on Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar
PTI said, “Bilawal has become a symbol of confusion and contradiction in Pakistan’s foreign policy … PPP was founded by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto with the legacy of Kashmir, but today Bilawal is betraying the same legacy.” In the interview, Bilawal also said that the cases that are going on in Pakistan against Saeed and Azhar are related to terrorist funding. Prosecution is difficult for cross -border terrorism, as India is not allegedly cooperating. He said, “India is not cooperating in some basic processes, which are necessary for punishment. If India is ready to present evidence in the court, sending witnesses and encouraging, I do not think there will be any obstacle in transportation.”
When asked about the current situation of Saeed and Azhar, Bilawal said that Saeed is in jail, while Islamabad believes that he is in Afghanistan. (PTI)
