CM promised in election
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had promised a free travel plan in the bus for women before the 2024 election. CM Naidu has fulfilled this promise for the women of his state.
Plan started on Independence Day
An official release said late Monday night, “On Monday alone, more than 18 lakh women took advantage of the bus travel for free.” Monday was the first working day since the introduction of this scheme on Independence Day.
47 lakh women got benefits in four days
Since the start of the scheme, 47 lakh women have benefited across the state in just four days. Chief Minister Naidu said that women passengers are sharing their happiness. The Chief Minister has been quoted as saying that she is saving every day through this scheme. (With language input)
