In Haryana, all schools will remain closed on the second Saturday of the month, education department’s order – action will be taken if students are called.
There is good news for the school children of Haryana. There will be holiday on second Saturday in government and non-government schools of Haryana. The Education Department has issued orders regarding this. It has been clearly stated in the orders that there will be a holiday in all government and private schools on the second Saturday of November 9, 2024.
It is written in this order that during gazetted local or other declared holidays, some schools call students to school for activities other than studies, which is wrong. Therefore, all the district education officers have been ordered not to call students to school for any activity during the holidays.
If any school disobeys these orders, its case will be sent to higher authorities for departmental action. If any action is taken regarding this, the head and administration of the concerned school will themselves be responsible for it.
Parents Association also demanded change in school timings
In government schools of Haryana, children are dismissed at 6.15 pm. Due to this, it becomes dark for the students while returning home. Parents are very worried about this, especially now that it is getting dark early.
The school administration has started classes in 2 shifts. The first shift in the morning is for classes 9 to 12 and the second shift in the afternoon is for classes 6 to 8. The school closes at 6:15 pm in the second shift, which has become a problem for parents. Parents have demanded from the education department to change the timing of schools.
