Tehran: Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazim Ghiribabadi said on Thursday that Iran is ready to interact with the US on its nuclear program, but this will happen only when it takes meaningful steps to restore confidence. Iran is scheduled to hold a meeting with the Deputy Foreign Policy Commissioner of Britain, France and Germany and European Union in Istanbul on Friday. This will be the first dialogue after the 12 -day war between Iran and Israel in June. During this war, American bombers targeted Iran’s nuclear installations.

Ghiribabadi said in a social media post that to attend the talks, Iran is demanding to maintain ‘many major principles’. He said that these include “restoring the trust of Iran, reinforcing the confidence, using dialogue for secret agenda as a platform, the honor of Iran’s rights and removal of restrictions under the Nuclear Non -Proliferation Treaty.
‘Iran will not leave nuclear program’
Meanwhile, let me tell you here that, recently Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that despite the “serious” damage to nuclear bases after the US attacks last month, Iran has no plans to leave its nuclear program. Iran’s uranium enrichment program will continue.
Israel has warned
Recently, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katj warned Iran. Katj had said that Iran would have to return the uranium enhanced to dangerous levels. He had said that a message has been given to Iran from the US and Israel that it will have to hand over its enrich uranium. Iran is believed to have entered its uranium up to 60 per cent. If this level had reached 90 percent, Iran would have been able to make atomic bombs. (AP)
