Singapore: The migrant laborers of India in Singapore have also made India proud with their best work. On Saturday, a female driver was saved by 7 Indian migrant laborers after falling into Sinkhole along with a car. Pleased with his work, Singapore President Therman Ramanmugarna has invited all the laborers to Istana Rashtrapati Bhavan.

These laborers include site Foreman Pichai Udayappan Subaiah (47), Velmurugan Muthusami (27), Pomalai Saravanan (28), Ganesan Veerecekar (32), Bose Ajitakumar (26), Narayanasamy Mayakrishnan (25), and Sathpillai Rajendran (56).

The amount we have collected will be distributed equally among these laborers and deposited in their bank accounts.” The institution also said that “We will soon organize a meat-end-grit program with these laborers.”
When did the incident happen
The incident occurred at the Tanjong Katong Road South in Singapore, near the site of a public drainage project (PUB). Construction of a 16 meter deep shaft was going on here, which is the task of connecting three existing sewer lines. According to the National Water Agency, there was a flaw in the concrete part of that shaft at around 5:50 pm on Saturday evening, after which a sinkhol became on the nearby road and a car fell into it. A quick response to Subaiah and his comrades took the woman out safely in a few minutes with the help of a rope. This adventure was praised by many people including President Therman.
