Iran Uranium Conversion Facility
Vienna: Talks about Iran’s nuclear program have been inconclusive. Representatives of three European countries could not agree with their Iranian counterparts how to avoid restrictions a few days before the deadline ends. These three countries have warned to re -implement the United Nations sanctions on Iran’s nuclear program. One diplomat said that talks between representatives and Iranian officials of Britain, France and Germany, who are called E3 countries, have been unaware.
‘Efforts to solve’ continue ‘
The diplomat said that efforts are being made to find solutions between European countries amidst the rapid time limit of re -implementation of Iran. This action can be taken under the ‘Snapback’ provision of the United Nations Security Council. Earlier on July 25, there was a round of talks between European and Iranian representatives in Istanbul.
European countries have increased concern
The concerns of European countries have increased even further after Iran has increased cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over its nuclear program and the attack on its nuclear bases during the Iran-Israeli war in June. The global community has no clear idea of the status of Iran’s nuclear program ‘especially 60 per cent of the accuracy of uranium enhanced uranium’ due to the closure of IAEA inspection.
What is Iran’s claim?
The suitable uranium to make weapons is 90 percent purity and 60 percent is technically very close. Iran claims that its nuclear program is for full peaceful purposes, although it is the only non-nuclear weapon-rich country that is promoting such a high level of uranium. Earlier this year, the United States and European countries agreed that if Iran, if Iran, starting nuclear dialogue with the US, giving United Nations Inspectors access to nuclear bases and giving clear details of more than 400 kg of enhanced uranium do not fulfill some of the major conditions, ‘snapback’ provision would be applied by the end of August.
