In the second Test, discussion about the playing XI of the Indian team has started. On which many Indian giants are giving their reactions. Jasprit Bumrah was rested in the second Test, after which it was expected that Kuldeep Yadav would get a chance. Let us know that the performance of Indian fast bowlers in Leeds was poor. After which cricket pundits believed that the team was in dire need of an aggressive spinner.
Ravi Shastri also expressed resentment
Jasprit Bumrah was excluded from Edgbaston Test due to workload. After which Ravi Shastri expressed his displeasure and took a dig at the team management. Talking on a live show, he said, “When you have the best fast bowler in the world, it is a surprising decision to keep him out even after seven days of rest. It is difficult to believe it and I do not agree at all.”
Sunil Gavaskar’s anger over team management
Sunil Gavaskar said during a conversation, “I am surprised that Kuldeep Yadav was not selected, especially on the pitch where a turn was expected. India has added Sundar but he has been done in view of batting, while we needed a wicket.”
Sunil Gavaskar further said, “If your top order batsmen are unable to score runs, then the seventh or eighth number of players cannot handle the position. In the first Test, India scored a total of 830 runs in two innings, then there was no problem with batting. There was a need to take wickets of such bowlers.”
