After bad fielding, Jaiswal also flopped in batting in the second innings and scored just 4 runs in 11 balls. He scored a brilliant century in the first innings and scored 101 runs in 159 balls.

Significantly, during the third day’s play, the Indian team stopped England for 465 runs and India got a lead of 6 wickets in the first innings. For England, Oli Pope scored 106 runs, Harry Brook scored 99 runs and Ben Docket scored 62 runs. Earlier, India scored 471 runs after being invited to bat, in which captain Shubman Gill scored 147 runs, Rishabh Pant scored 134 runs and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 101 runs.
