Ind-W Vs En-W 1st T20i Highlights: In the first women’s T20 match played between India and England, India defeated England by 97 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. Captain Smriti Mandhana scored 112 runs in 62 balls in a bang, which was her first century in the women’s T20. India scored a huge score of 210/5 in 20 overs. In response, the England team collapsed for just 113 runs. Debutant Mr. Charani took 4 wickets while bowling brilliantly.

In the first match of the five -match women’s T20I series between India and England, India defeated England by 97 runs on the basis of captain Smriti Mandhana’s historical century and the debut of debutant Mr. Charani by 97 runs.

Batting first in the match, the Indian team started tremendous. Captain Smriti Mandhana scored 112 runs off 62 balls, playing aggressively. In this innings, he hit 15 fours and 3 sixes. Mandhana shared 77 runs for the first wicket with Shafali Verma (20 runs in 22 balls) and then with Harleen Deol (43 runs in 23 balls).

Mandhana completed her century in 51 balls and became India’s second female player to score a century in T20I. Earlier, Harmanpreet Kaur scored 103 runs against New Zealand in the 2018 T20 World Cup. Along with this, Smriti also achieved the distinction of becoming the world’s fifth and India’s first female player to score a century in all three formats.

India scored 210 for 5 wickets in 20 overs. The England team was under pressure from the beginning to chase the target. Captain Net Savar-Brant played a fighter innings of 66 runs in 42 balls, but the rest of the batsmen could not do anything special.

For India, debutant Mr. Charani bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets for just 12 runs in 3.5 overs. Deepti Sharma and Radha Yadav took two wickets each.

England’s entire team was all out for 113 runs in 14.5 overs and India won the match by 97 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
